not what i went in expecting, at all. possibly not the best introduction to tarkovsky but overall this was incredibly fascinating and stunning, truly felt like a fever dream you were thrown into and couldn’t escape from. once i watch solaris and a few other of his films and read roadside picnic i will probably revisit this
