This is a good concept but it just falls a little short.

I love a good time travel movie, I’m just not convinced this is a time travel movie.  Seriously though, I liked it. There were a couple story beats that I thought they took the wrong way. But it still kept me guessing. It’s a fairly original take on a few dystopian tropes. The design is fun and straddles bananas with reality.

Oh, shit, some animated predators...I'm all for it in concept. And this film takes full advantage of the concept. But the story just missed for me. Apparently the Yautja have a time-machine and can pick people up at will. And any creature who's managed to kill a Yautja is ripe for the picking. I think that this could have been a fun story concept, with out the long drawn out 'victim besting hunter' sub-plots that take away from the battle story line. I get it, you have to have characters in the battle that have beaten a Yautja, but it just seemed like you could have edited the 3 tales a little tighter down to just the first act. Or make it an animated series ala Clone Wars. That all being said, I thought the production and character designs were off the charts great. The animation was well done too.
