Whiplash

This has to be the most intense and nerve-wrecking movie I think I have watched and might possibly ever see. The pacing is the most vigorous I have seen. This movie has an intense scene and sequence the whole time with very little room for scenes which are slow. This is shown as there aren’t many slow scenes as compred to fast paced scenes in this movie. This movie really tells an amazing story about a ruthlessness and discipline. The acting is phenomenal. J.K. Simmons absolutely delivered his role as Terrence Fletcher who is easily one of the most ruthless characters I have ever seen in a movie and the chemistry between Andrew Neiman who is played by Miles Teller is carefully crafted and perfectly executed. Miles Teller really showed Andrew Neiman’s character development with his great acting skills. The dynamic between Fletcher and Neiman is intense and a battle of psychology as Fletcher puts Neiman through fear, humiliation and pressure. The movie from the first act to the last is all a masterpiece. Every act is fast paced unlike movie who build their pace from the first act to the last. Every act had you thinking what will happen because of this film’s unpredictability. This film really highlights the question that does extraordinary success require extraordinary suffering? This movie is amazing and would highly recommend.
