Punch-Drunk Love

It’s kind of perfect. More than that, a fascinating element is that it really works well if you are one of those weird people who similarly love artistically interesting films, and are also a big fan of the sand man. Like in many ways, this is a typical Adam Sandler movie, just done really really well and taken seriously. If I described this movie to you it would sound like so many of his other movies. Is this not similar to Mr deeds ? The waterboy? Happy Gilmore ? They even go to Hawaii, like 50 first dates. This is the best Adam Sandler movie, but it is also undoubtedly an Adam Sandler movie, just as much , or perhaps even more than it is a PTA movie. Just perfect.
