Last time you'll ever see the academy pick a film like this for best picture. Classic film easily the best in the series, although i haven't watched the Creed movies yet.

Pauly is racist in this one. I remember liking this one the least my first time watching these. Montage count: 3

Great send-off for the franchise. Thats all i have to say for this one. Montage count: 1

Its literally just the first movie with an extra montage. This one used to be my favourite rocky film actually, doesnt really hold up however.

Controversial opinion but this film really isn't as bad. Rocky 2-4 felt as if each film was just trying to 1 up each other whereas this film actually tries something different which i like alot. Tommy Gunn is a great character in my opinion and if they left the series off at this, i wouldnt be complaining. And if i remember correctly i only counted 1 montage.

Yeah this is not the best rocky, not even close. They manage 3 subpar montage sequences, including one that is made up entirely of clips from the previous films, and about 4 musical segments, and personally i really do not enjoy the soundtrack to this film, it doesnt even feature Gonna fly now. Montage count: 3
