resonant and also incredibly entertaining. soapy as hell. writing is shoddy at times for supporting characters (why would Alby ever do that?) but never loses its emotional and thematic core in a way that would cause me to stop watching. I love confessional art and I think we should be making more of it in an age where people are so afraid of sincerity.
