This film is phenomenal. The pacing is fantastic. There isn’t a single scene in this film which feels wasted or pointless. The little details make this film as good as it is. The plot is, at times, predictable but it makes up for it in the attention to such details.  Much like other David Fincher films, there are so many little things done throughout the film which you only notice watching it a second time (ie John Doe being in the cafe and outside the leather store whilst following Pitt and Freeman. Brad Pitt is as outstanding in this as always. Whilst not being his best work (but who can blame him given other incredible roles he had), Morgan Freeman was great. Spacey also played a great character regardless of how short his screentime was. Also Bonus points for not showing his name in the Opening Credits so as not to give away his character.  This film is an absolute must watch for anyone into thrillers.
