Blade Runner 2049

I’m writing this review a few days after I actually watched the movie and I still cant stop thinking about it. This is DEFINITELY the best looking movie I’ve ever watched by a HUGE margin. There are so many scenes in this where all I could do is just absorb and take in everything it is showing me and just bask in its visuals. This movie reminds me of why I love movies. I am genuinely in so much awe.  This is 5/5 based on its visuals alone. But the story also goes SO HARD. I went into this knowing the twist at the end but the fact that I was anticipating it did not affect the way it hit me even in the slightest. This movie is absolutely flawless. I wish I had an IMAX theatre all to myself and I could watch this in the best seat possible all alone. Few other movies have even come close to making me feel this way. The only bad thing abt this is I had to watch the mid 1982 blade runner before but watching that is almost a prerequisite because ain’t no way this is hitting as hard as it did if I hadn’t watched the og.
