I love Joe Pesci in this movie, as I do in every appearance from him. I don’t think there is any other person that can say fuck as frequently as he does and not sound completely stupid. This movie has one of the greatest assassination montages in mafia cinema, ending with the brutal and iconic bat scene. This movie has a great story, great acting, an absolutely incredible soundtrack with nothing but peak needledrops, memorable characters, and amazing cinematography. One of the best mafia movies out there, and that is obviously a very high bar.
