despite its heavy reliance on surrealism and alluring and eccentric visuals this film also performed as a horrifying display of loneliness and grief. the characters names foreshadowing their deaths is insanely amusing and the absurdity of the attacks they endure helps make House so unique.
I also loved the use of bold colours and experimental camera shots to help convey the dreamlike tone. it truly is the most accurate depiction of a nightmare, hazy and bizarre.
i watched this film on a bad quality website with subtitles that barely worked and I still found myself obsessed and has somehow solidified itself as one of my favourites!!
