The Shining

The Overlook Hotel is only open during the summer months. So every winter they need to hire a caretaker to look after it, Jack Torrence is going to be this years caretaker. Before getting the job though the owners warn him of past family murders occurring, Jack assures them him and his wife and son Danny will have no problems. At first everything seems great, the hotel is beautiful, spirits are up. But a month in Jacks behavior starts to change, Danny starts having episodes, and something isn’t right. This movie was so good. Jack Nicholson’s performance was so perfectly scary, and very convincing. The whole movie does a great job building suspense from the very beginning. And just has iconic moments left and right. Overall really good
