Mickey 17

A fucking insanely bizarre sci fi movie in the best way possible. It utilises cold dark humour and ridiculous over the top concepts about cloning and ethical views about science and sprinkles in some not so discreet Trump hate which is always a good sign. The political allegories are obviously as relevant as ever now and it’s also just fucking funny as well. Robert Pattinson is a really good lead actor and most of the supporting actors played their roles phenomenally especially Mark Ruffalo who basically just had to act like a twat the whole time. Only problem is that the film really drags on and starts to lose its grip around the third act. It kind of lost its flavour and humour it had earlier in the film but besides that this film is funny and very good. Mickey 18’s sacrifice will be remembered.
