since i watched the trailer months ago, i already knew she was gonna choose larry, but i still rooted for luke cuz WDYM HE WAITED 67 YEARS for her??? (he’s so meeee) but then as the movie goes on, i get why joan chose larry in the end. they’ve shared a life together for so many years, experienced so many ups and downs. so of course, if i were her too, i would want to spend my eternity with someone who has been there for me through everything
