i needed a reminder of who i am!! my roman empire is my first watch of this film, nearly a decade ago (!!!) i hadn’t seen it since (until today), but its images and my memories of actually experiencing the film have fed me for years and years. i think i discovered what life’s meaning could be, and how to live in a way that’s most fulfilling. crazy that i’m revisiting amélie in my twenties now…i’m sure that her story will continue to feed me for years to come…
