Blade II

I prefer this one to the first. Much more bloodthirsty and disgusting! The underground vampire subcultures are my favourite part of these movies. The clubs, the extreme body mods, the fashion, all of it is soo delicious. The scene of the couple making out w the razor blade and the guy w his spine exposed. Omfg sooo awesome. The absolute best part of these movies aside from Blade himself.  Also a huge fan of all the bloody treats going on here. Blood jelly, blood cocaine. Fun stuff!  The practical effects during the autopsy scene were killer. Reminded me a lot of H R Giger’s stuff in alien. I imagine that Del Toro having directed it had a big hand in why I liked this one so much more, much more grossness in this one.
