The Terminal

This film has stirred up so many different emotions in me.  There’s a man who wants to keep a promise he made to his father, only to find himself stuck at an airport for several months.  This man has waited for so long and written his own story at this airport. With such a big heart, he waits and waits, not even understanding the language at first. Yet he perseveres. So now he’s stuck in one place and makes the best of it. Whilst waiting, Viktor makes so many friends along the way. He keeps coming up with brilliant ideas to survive. He helps everyone he sees and doesn’t give up. He still waits. It moves me to see him finally fulfil his promise at the end of his story. I wish this gentleman all the happiness in the world. Hopefully, he’ll find his true Amalia one day.
