Somebody asked the director how many twists he wanted? Dude said YES. It's full of them, constantly flipping what you think is going on. It goes from seemingly normal family vibes to the brother acting different, then the whole family feeling off, to him uncovering layers of truth, the real truth hitting hard, and even that meeting from when they were younger. Pure CINEMA. Kang's performance was on poin. He carried the whole thing and even left me sympathizing with a criminal by the end 🥲🤌🏻

Let me start here: this movie sat in my watchlist for years. Finally pulled the trigger, and honestly? I'm left scratching my head more than I am trembling. Look, I'm not saying it's bad. It's not. But after years of hearing "modern masterpiece" and "soul-crushing terror", I was expecting to leave my body. Instead, I left confused. And a little disappointed. Toni Collette though? Yeah, she earned every bit of that hype. Phenomenal doesn't even cover it. She's mid-scream, about to let it all out, and then her face just snaps into this cold, snatched diva expression like she remembered the camera was on her good side. You know exactly which moment I'm talking about. Iconic behavior honestly. She carried this whole movie on her back and made it look easy. Everything else? Mixed bag. The opening dialogue was rough—Peter and those classmates gave me secondhand embarrassment. He got better as it went, but those early scenes had me worried. And the naked cult people? Unnecessary. I did NOT need to see that old man. There's unsettling and then there's just... why. The pacing is slow but not the boring kind. It keeps you hooked even when you have no clue what's actually happening. And that ending? Still trying to piece it together. Cult? Demon? Grief possession? Honestly if I were the dad I would've just dipped out the front door and never came back. Would I rewatch? Probably not. But also maybe yes? There's this itch that a second watch might clear things up. Or it might confuse me more. Either way, it's stuck in my head. So yeah. Not a classic. Not a masterpiece. Just a fascinating, frustrating, occasionally brilliant movie with an all-timer performance and a plot that lost me somewhere along the way. Worth watching? Sure. Worth the hype? Nah.

The movie is about a murderer that uses a dildo with a retractable knife to kill fags, only fags. As simple as that. In the end, gays for the win. Moral of the story: we nasty n we luv it

An online friend of mine suggested this movie to me. I'm glad I had the time to watch it cuz it's very different from what I've seen from Bollywood. This movie talks about a woman named Mehak who developed a serious and severe agoraphobia (fear of going outside) after a traumatic incident. She locks herself inside an apartment, thinking it's the only safe place. But then she starts noticing strange things happening inside. The more time passes, the more she questions whether she’s actually in danger or if it’s all in her head. It’s very tense and psychological, mostly set in one apartment, and plays a lot with your mind.
