Using this to log the season 1 - legit one of the best 2000s series I've watched. Kumiko is everything in this show she's just that girl , she really loves being a teacher and really prioritize her students, although on some part she might be the usual teacher but she's still better than the rest of all them teachers. 3-D class is just teenagers who's still exploring and searching themselves, being immature, bratty and being absolutely bonkers for such inconvenient stuff. I love all 3-D character sm, especially sawada, Kumai and uchiyama, the rest are awesome too but ugh they all be making kumiko went through hell and back will all the shits and fights they be having allllll the time that it actually frustrates me bcs why are these kids so freaky stubborn. But in the end it's the reality of teenagers back and nowadays. The oede family ily, the way kumiko family is all kind, supportive and cares for her made the show fun too bcs tetsu and that bald guy is sooo funny, tbh their like kumiko's siblings atp. The school system? f up, idk why the school is so bad, the teachers are probably useless ( except for kumiko and the loving school nurse and shizuka) I absolutely hate that vice principal, and the test of them. I think those type of teachers are making kids like those in 3-D can't be better bcs they always perceive them teenagers like thugs, bad guys and will fail in life but they just need encouragement and actual teachers that understand and help them, not just some oh u gonna be expelled smh. Those 2 detectives/police ily. that fine ahh guy omd he's nice I like him he always help kumiko and the kids whenever they got into troubles. The backstory of many characters meant a lot, kumiko's getting bullied, shin relationship with his parents, kumai and his father's death, and lots of friendship backstory. The 3-D really cares and love their teacher bcs they backup and would quit school if kumiko had to quit her job and resign bcs of that fuckass Magazine saying she's violent and all that Yakuza stuff. The end was satisfying bcs all the boys got together at the graduation ceremony even though they had a fight bcs of college acceptance and all that, but they all came to the graduation ceremony bcs they cared abt kumiko T-T. Ill forever love Gokusen, but just knew that shin sawada is not in the other seasons T-T

wth is wrong with yuki Yamada always being the other choice T-T this is good yet have many flaws in some ways but they really loved ea h other but was just not confident to say it out loud to each other. That call after 2 years of not communicating between kosuke and mana?? him making sure she's safe bcs there's an earthquake, and he pointed out the moon that looked beautiful and giving all those speech and quotes to her on the call lowk made me realized he loved her so much and never let go ;( the ending was a bit funny? bcs mana's husband said whoever wan a kiss her gotta do one condition which is to kiss him as a joke but kosuke actually did it just to kiss her for the first and last time) but I feel so bad for kosuke man he really loved her, I guess in a parallel world, they would become a couple. He even find himself being passionate to write a book about his life, her, and his friends and the ending, that felt hella sad for me bcs in the end they didn't get together

Season 2! First of all,with was that ep 1?? THST mf girl omd I was already stressed out by the first few eps ,not to mention kotoko is giving me second hand embarrassment meanwhile naoki is nonchalant . After that first few eps it went good, I absolutely adore kotoko and naoki sooo much they are so precious bro, though in some episodes and parts kotoko is pushy and naoki said mean things to kotoko and not really showing his love to her ( I swear he loves her so much but og he just have some problem showing it proudly ) . Kotoko in nursing school and becoming a nurse trainee is funny cuz she clumsy as hell but I'm so glad everyone was there to help her pursue her dreams, her new friends are great but wrh is wrong with keita?? He legit knew she's a married woman. And ofc naoki got jealous of kotoko having a guy close to her and was an ass about it, but I'm glad they made up. Sooo many quarrels in this season but they made up maturely, towards the end I finally realized that they both suit each other, kotoko maybe pushed her feelings towards him, following him around and naoki being cold, said mean things and even lowkenuienly prioritize or cared for another woman first . That mf cousin idk what her name is , she pmo bro I swear I wanna smack her so bad but couples r finally being happy and she's tryna wreck their relationship by trying to get naoki saying they kissed etc ,but it was just a kiss she forced onto naoki . Yuki growing up and had the same relationship dynamic like his brother. But I'm sooo happy bcs this season they showed more of naoki's pov of why this and that happened,what he felt etc. with him telling ppl kotoko is his wife bcs other girls kept hitting on him and saying kotoko is not suitable for him at all. The way he cared for her ,helped her idk man I'm easy so that means he's a good husband. Also the part where Chris and kotoko met mad eme laugh bcs I genuinely thought Chris was in love with naoki but no lmao. The scene at kotoko father's restaurant??? I tweaked a little lmao Chris was actually attracted to kinchan and immediately kissed him ,he later then fainted ,days goes on and they slowly got close to each other even though kinchan said he's still into kotoko but he opened up to Chris and I'm sososoosos freaking happy she didn't get on that plane to England and stayed in Japan , cuz they got married towards the end of the series T-T I even heard that this version of love intokyo is the most close to the mangaka story ( it was sad that the mangaka died and her husband continues the story making this adaption close to their life story ig that's why naoki is a bit on the red flag bcs I read somewhere the husband of the mangaka even made kotoko's character smarter and cuter ) idk if it's true but if yes I'm finna cry. Love this with my whole heart ughhh now I dont get to watch this for the first time again.

FOR THE DRAMA >< S1 :I have a love-hate relationship towards this series as it's the insufferable girl x cold mysterious nonchalant guy. I loveee kotoko so much she's just a typical teenage girl who wants to get their crush, meanwhile naoki is quite the cold popular guy, the meteor thing is funny bcs wdym bcs of that kotoko and her father had to moved in and lived with her father's best friend and coincidentally his son is naoki! Family aspects? Freaking love the parents in this series bcs they are all supportive and kind , even naoki's mom wanted kotoko to be with her son, now that's for the first half of the season is all went well but towards the half it starts to get quite complicated, kotoko and kin chan, that whole business company arranged marriage shits happened,I was starting to loose it. I'm annoyed by how naoki is quite selfish (?) and kotoko is lowkenuienly have no self respect, I guess they suit each other. The whole 2nd male lead hurts bcs kinosuke is nice af and is the backup for kotoko whenever naoki is mean or not w her, kinchan is the real back burner he's always there for her and helped her ,cheer her up,comfort her and so on. That scene where kinchan went over to the irie family house to celebrate Xmas w kotoko bcs he knew both her friends are out and cancelled on her last minute, but then saw kotoko with naoki together through the window broke my heart a lil bit ,he was soo excited and even wpre full on santa costume for her, ig the 2nd male lead gote too. The last 2 eps??? Got me tweaking yo I genuinely was so stressed out by that whole business marriage and how kinchan proposed to kotoko, naoki acting cold and reserved and all that. The actual end?? I felt like the marriage only happened bcs naoki realized kotoko is going to be taken away from him by kinosuke and actually gonna marry kotoko, that's why naoki decided to ditched everything and actually get married to kotoko, knowing kotoko she would ofc accept it all bcs he's her crush after all. I like how the parents made sure he ain't toying her or some idk. Gonna stress myself by watching season 2 next! Love this series mwah it's ok bcs it's naoki
