Tony Stonem as Lex was chef kiss… Okay but fr tho I LOVE Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor in this film like it was gen so perfect, he has this subtle slick and sadistic look to him that totally works out for his narcissistic character. Clark in the film defo showed more vulnerability and emotions which added a lot more depth and moral grounding to his character, making him feel more human rather than some generic superhero so thx Gunn for incorporating that. The side characters were good aswell, tho I wish hawkgirl had a bit more substance to her character as I personally felt like she was just a psychical presence in the film, unlike some of the other side characters (mister terrific and green latern) who showed a lot more of their personality (probably because MT got more screen time and green latern in the film was quite a bold character). Despite that I really felt like this film was a refresh from all the other recent DC films by having that balance of emotions and not being overly serious
