maybe I've still got some more healing to do.

there are a handful of really great hilarious jokes here, it's a shame they're dragged down by the rest of the film. I'd also like to add that Steve Carell's performance here was so unconvincing it had me wanting to switch this off after the first 15 minutes. wanted to love this (especially after the praise I've heard) ended up just tolerating it, I feel bad about the score I gave this but that's me being generous!

I genuinely cannot understand how anyone could come out of this film and rate it anything below 4 stars. it's so so difficult to speak about how good this film is without completely spoiling and ruining it. also I honestly can't tell if the marketing for this film was completely idiotic or genius

honestly so masterful that entire ending sequence is so entrancing and and has me honestly at a loss for words, the choreography was so beautifully done, the score was so perfectly use, the visuals and the effects being used never felt forced or out of place and looked next level. Natalie Portman delivers without a doubt one of if not my favourite performance of all time, I'm honestly trying to think of the last time a performance has impacted me as much as this one and I don't know if another will again. is it too soon to call this one of my favourite films? definitely. am I going to anyway? fuck yes I am **Perfect.**
