One of my favourite MCU movies since Endgame. Handles its mature themes well, I really loved all the performances especially from Florence Pugh and Lewis Pullman. Doesn’t redeem David Harbour for his Hellboy film, 4/5.

So bad it’s great. Grefé has such a mad filmography in terms of acting and directing. Tbf there were some good parts, I thought the opening credits were fun, and most of the underwater scenes were beautiful. Plus they had an original jellyfish themed song. Apart from that, an incredibly 60s monster film. The bad guy’s the scarred, disabled guy you meet right away, he jeets with a big jellyfish and turns into a jellyfish man after getting nut on his face (who is still connected to the original jellyfish in its tank a* *hive mind I think?) Really long dance scenes, schizo music, shite acting and dialogue. Just really fun to laugh at (when the pacing isn’t painfully slow). And it set up a sequel. *Beatles schmeatles, who needs them?* gets bumped up a bit because of the jelly fish song. 2/5.

New worst film ever just dropped (50 years ago). Not gonna waste time criticising the many flaws of this film, but the appalling behind the scenes animal cruelty was horrendous. Going so far as to record themselves just killing real sharks. Nvm, this movie pisses me off too much not to say anything. At first I thought it was a critique on Jaws, since it came out a year after, and was gonna be pro-shark. Aside from the BTS awfulness mean Grefé couldn’t have had a bone in his body that cared for sharks, he spends the whole film defending sharks until he turns them back into the monsters he was against them being portrayed as. Just a shitty shitty film made by even shittier people. I can’t actually give it 0 stars, but half a star is too good for this horrible movie, 0/5.

So many great one liners from this film. It rhymes with grape. Korean Jesus don’t have time for problems. I was gay when you punched me! 4/5.
