Picked this up as a joke from the Walmart dvd sale with a friend. Low-budget but insanely well-written (every joke hit). Weirdly touching take on getting older (Daniel Alexander Markowitz with his state as an adult but still learning and Thelma as she's turning into something of a child and losing her "adult" status in the world serve as juxtapositions to each other.

They referenced this movie in Submarine (2010) so this was the natural choice after watching that with company.

Funny as ever, genuinely laugh out loud.
