Joint Security Area

Just guys being dudes except their country is ripped in half and so was I at the end of this movie. Another masterpiece from Park Chan-Wook. I loved this one especially because it deals with borders and there’s a scene with an amusement park. As always the filmmaking techniques were mind-boggling and each frame is picture perfect. Unfortunately flat female detective lawyer lady. Her partner did not need to exist at all lol. Also shame about the performances in English, which felt like the dialogue in an eastern European porno. Though I do feel in a way they added to the movie’s charm :)
