Climax
I generally think gaspar noe might be the best horror director there is without even really having the label of his films being horror.
it’s not about demons, ghosts, unrealistic serial killers.
he’s films always highlight the absolute worst of humanity and that’s enough to instantly make them more scary than your conjurings and halloweens.
he constantly breaks the barrier of what a film should look and feel like.
the story is loose and tends to not have structured scenes.
the audio is distorted and uncomfortable on the ears.
the camera work is messy and slanted.
even having the credits in the middle of the film.
but this is what makes him stand out from any other director I have seen.
