at first i was kind of disappointed when i learned that there was a monster in the movie. after all, i feel like the whole allure of the backrooms is that you’re completely alone, and i thought adding a monster in there defeats the purpose a little, even if it is spooky. but *man *the concept they came up for the monster really fit well with the concept of the backrooms in general in my opinion, and i like that they kind of kept some of the mystery still there. I do think there are some questions that they left unanswered that i kind of wanted to be answered, but that’s ok
