Boy

Jojo Rabbit has been my favourite film for the last year. This movie isn’t gonna change that. But this is just incredible. Firstly the performances from everyone in this are so natural and raw and clearly rooted in truth. The two leading kids Boy and Rocky give better performances than most Hollywood A listers nowadays are capable of.  The style and fluidity of the cinematography is what I feel Wes Anderson wished he had. This has every bit of style and colour that he has without losing an ounce of reality and connection to the characters and world. Overall the plot just wrecked me, kids in distress is the hardest thing to watch in my opinion and that’s the synopsis of this movie without spoiling it. I loved every minute of this and I was definitely brought to tears. Taika Waititi come back 🙏
