AHHHHHHHH SO FUCKING GOOD Definitely very under the influence but maybe the only way I can do this film justice. The way that Luca was places actors in a scene is masterful, so deliberate but effortless. I mean, great actors help, but the staging and direction are doing so much leg work regardless. The way this weaves its themes together while also just being one of the most entertaining movies I’ve ever seen is so fucking impressive. THE CHURRO SCENE FOR CHRISTS SAKE!!! Love to see stage actors being able to do their thing without feeling cheesy or over the top. Like it seriously feels like the boys are about to break into song every single time they speak but in the best way ever put to screen.  Also, love how sexy this is without any nudity. Modern Hitchcock has never looked this good.  The score. God damn.
