Blade Runner 2049
The set design, the cinematography, the characters, the way it’s willing to challenge the viewer and deviate from where you expect the typical “chosen one” type story to go. How it interlinks to the first movie while still being its own thing and not feeling the need to explain or use countless flashbacks. There’s no huge overarching villain, no revolution or revelation it’s just a movie about the meaning of memory, experience, loneliness, a search for meaning and leaving an imprint on someone. Holy shit, this is an all timer right here.
