Parasite

Wow. I mean wow. This film is not only the best of 2019 but one of the best of the 2010s. What can I say about this film that hasn’t been said already. The acting is phenomenal, the cinematography is stellar, the writing is top notch and the story is both tense and has a strong message on ignorance and class disparities. Parasite is one of those films that come along maybe every 10-20 years are so. Basically put in the writing and dialogue of a Tarantino movie, the directing and realism of a Scorcese movie and suspense of a Nolan film and you have Parasite. As I am writing this, I am at a loss for words right now after the masterpiece that I just saw and honestly there is so much to dive into here that I could be writing this for years and still wouldn’t do this film the justice it deserves. Parasite is a film that only comes along every once in a lifetime. Truly a masterclass of cinema. 10/10
