The Last Dance
The Last Dance is an extraordinary documentary, giving an in depth look at the greatest to ever touch a basketball (Yes, I’m an MJ guy) and the cost of winning at the highest level of competition. I was so surprised at how well the archival footage of the ‘98 season was restored and remastered. It looked like it was filmed with today’s technology. Even the footage of seasons before ‘98 looked exceptional.
Even if you’re not a basketball fan, you will find this to be one of the best documentaries of all time. The amount of detail and craft put into this project is a rare sight to be seen. My only critique would be that at times it could lose focus and jump around a bit too many times for my taste. But it’s very minor.
Michael Jordan and his Chicago Bulls are the best the game has ever seen and will probably ever see.
