The Shining

ahhhh i can't sleep cause of this film, when i first watched this it was already really uncomfortable, looking at the huge empty space, stanley kubrick really presented a liminal space that made me uncomfortable, plus the soundtrack felt creepy, especially after i finished watching it further explanation in this film, i increasingly feel like "wow" kubrick really put a lot of hidden meanings into this film, and the scene where the ghost appears wearing a bear costume is the most random but gives you goosebumps, a very thought provoking film cause kubrick's film is like an abstract painting that must be studied in depth to find out the true meaning, and a horror film that doesn't rely on jump scares but only relies on big empty space + the appearance of something unexpected with a soundtrack that makes us enter the film, love it
