Even though I hate the misinformation about sharks, this movie is a total masterpiece. I've watched it so many times in my life I can't even remember the first one. I have to thank my Father, who made me love these magnificent creatures, and was always there when I was watching shark movies and documentaries. A wonderful horror movie, that makes you deal with the egoism of mankind (both talking about the Major and the tourists, who trying to save themselves are seen running over kids or stealing airbeds). For that you get the head, the tail, the whole damn thingThe long Quint Monologue is one of the most memorable in whole cinema history, no music, just talking. Anyway, we delivered the bomb Hooper has always been an icon for me. He loves sharks, he studies them, he always knows what to do, ... and increases the average IQ of the whole movie.
