The Cured
Thank you, for not treating me like an animal
Whoever got the idea behind this movie is a genius.
The simple concept of people getting to fight a PTSD caused by the atrocities they committed as zombies is so unique.
I may be wrong, but I don't think there are other movies that explore such scenario.
They took a overused genre and built a new story around, focusing on the human instinct to isolate the different, dealing with prejudice and fitting into a world that doesn't feel our own anymore
The "Cured" Senan just wanted to come back to a normal life, while also dealing with nightmares reminding him that [SPOILER]
he killed his own brother, as an infected.
But every other cured, feeling repressed by the society that left them behind, forced him to join a literal terroristic organization, for the sole purpose of showing to the "normal people" they are not scum of the society, they can fight back for their rights.
This movie really makes you wander ...
How should countries treat all those people who fight to find a place in society?
How should we treat criminals with the only fault of being mentally ill?
Would we really be open-minded when the ones in danger are our loved ones?
