Y2K
Kyle Mooney has got to be one of my favorite directors. This film was done very well, taking a fun and interesting twist on the Y2K fear in 1999. Some aspects of the film moved particularly fast, not allowing for enough development for certain plot lines to evoke emotion. Some details felt slightly looked over, but the film fit a lot of information in a good amount of time. The time period work is done extremely well and felt very nostalgic even though I was pretty young at the time. Fred Durst’s role in the film you ask? absolutely phenomenal. Overall I absolutely loved the film and would recommend to anyone to watch.
