Boyhood
It's remarkable that as a writer and a director you have so much faith in what you do and your vision that you can make film it over years and the result isn't too heavy-handed about the "process" of growing up. It is work of art that captures growing up in an honest and sincere way, in a way that makes you want to talk to every version of your younger self and exchange stories and worldviews, physically be able to see yourself from a different perspective and how much you change. It's a really special film.
P.S
Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette were spectacular.
