here are my thoughts: -Spirited away prepared me for the circe scene -Robert Pattinson you evil little snarky bitch -I WANTED TO SEE MORE WOMEN -Loud movie, great sound design -I felt bad for polyphemus, dude had one eye and you took it from him😔 -I love Elliot Page -Last but not least, I hope the 10 year old boy that was sitting behind me gets free therapy for life

it’s just so fucking good isn’t it

Smart enough to realise that religion and God is a coping mechanism. Smart enough to realise some people need that, or need the story of it all. Need something to put their faith in. But also smart enough to never accept it as an excuse for hatred. Life of pi is really a movie to rewatch more than once!! I didn’t understand the depth of it when I first saw it (I was 11), but I remember how it deeply moved me. The visuals and cinematography bring an intensity to the story that is necessary, and are also just absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. I am already looking forward to watching this once again in the future.
