Blade Runner 2049
Cyberpunk but wayyy cooler.
Should have watched the first one before tho ngl
EDIT:I rewatched the Film cuz I was kinda tired on 1st watch and didnt catch some things, and I can pretty much say that this is probably the most extetically pleasing film i've ever watched.
The scenography, the score and the actors performances were really great and they are really the strong points of the Film.
I was surprised by Dave Bautista's character and performance because they gave him such a big impact on the Film and he delivered, but on the downside i was kinda disappointed on Wood Harris screen time, mainly beacuse I was a fan of Avon Barksdale on The Wire, and I was disappointed with Jared Leto's screentime too,cuz I thought that his character was really interesting and he would have made a really good villain, but even so,he made the best out of the two scenes he was in.
One last thing,I thought that the pacing of the Film was actually appropriate for the kind of story that we were seeing, despite what everybody says.
For the way I see it,the slow pacing of the Film is used to make us feel the emptyness and the lifelessness of the world that they are living in,and if that was what Villeneuve meant i can say that he definetly hit the spot.
