Rewatching this hits so much harder because the entire time you're just watching them fall in love in slow motion, knowing exactly how badly Elio’s heart is about to be shattered. The whole movie is just this gorgeous, sun-drenched Italian summer aesthetic, but it feels so bittersweet now because you realize every single perfect day is just a countdown to the end. You notice all the quiet, hidden details you missed the first time—the nervous glances, the secret tension, and how deeply they actually understood each other. The fireplace scene at the end completely destroys you on a rewatch; sitting there staring into the flames with him while the music plays is pure, raw emotional damage. Genuinely sobbing because Elio’s dad’s speech makes you realize that even though the heartbreak is completely agonizing, the love they shared was so beautiful it was worth all the pain. It's the ultimate comfort film wrapped in absolute heartbreak, leaving you completely empty and full at the exact same time.

Oh captain, my captain..

*Flavia* is literally my new favorite movie and I love it so much. It has the fun mystery of *Enola Holmes*, the magical, cozy feel of *Harry Potter*, and that beautiful, poetic vibe from *Dead Poets Society*. It completely sucks you into its world, and the whole atmosphere is just so gorgeous to watch. It’s the perfect movie to watch with your family because you can all try to solve the mystery together. It is so fun, comforting, and exciting all at the same time. I am honestly so obsessed with it—it’s that exact kind of sweet, comforting story that leaves you feeling incredibly happy inside. I need that Flavia 2 RIGHT NOW.
