Superman

After seeing the Zach Snyder rendition of the DC universe, and enjoying it, I knew that James Gunn's conception would be different. I loved it regardless. It felt much more like a comic book film rather than comic book characters existing in the real work. The social commentary was still present and I don't think the "goofiness" took away from that at all, if anything it only assisted the messaging. I also felt like the length and pacing were good. Didn't feel too long. Thoroughly enjoyed it and excited to see what Gunn will do with future DC projects.
