Felt like I was watching two different movies at the same time but each movie was really good, and they were still connected. I can see the complaint of it feeling like the movie has to pull punches just when its really about to go in but I feel like we know what its talking about anyways some things just cant be said, and this movie already says a lot. I also can understand that some people think the family plot is focused on too much but it really shows the tragedy of Jeffery Wright's character "Monk" especially when his mom gives the little speech of geniuses towards the end. Monk's relationships are tragic but at least finds peace with his siblings and in the end his family becomes stronger given the loss of some people in the family. Could the movie be pulled off with less family stuff, sure, but Im glad it didn't. Sterling K. Brown's character stole every scene he was in.

Obsessed. Im obsessed with so much about this film. First of all, fuck Bear. If you watch this movie and think Bear is the good guy and Nikki is the obsessed one you need to rewatch it. How Bear instantly says **"You came onto me."** when they first kissed and the real Nikki came out for a second to distance himself from any responsibility and wrong doing, how when the real Nikki is begging for him to kill her to free her, (from what I assume is like a sunken state/place like from *Get Out*),and instead of asking how to help or talking to her in any good way he asks **"Is being with me so bad?"** and even almost not killing himself before fake Nikki's wish takes over. The actress for Nikki's character, Inde Navarrette, gives a generational performance that had me on the edge of my seat waiting for what happens next. The hiding in the shadows, moving backwards, screaming and yelling, and even her presence when she isn't there. When Bear is talking to Sarah in the car you know fake Nikki is on her way, even though its not shown or told to the audience, and that its only a matter of when she gets there and even with knowing what happens after she arrived still had me shocked as ever. The audio and cinematography were amazing, I loved how the camera moved and zoomed in certain scenes. Only flaw for me is the movie being a little slow at the start, and while yes its adds tension and makes the later scenes feel stronger, the reveal of the wish being true and taking over Nikki happens fairly early and you still feel it being a tiny bit slow. Does not even come remotely close to ruining the movie though. Was a big fan of Curry Bakers skits on youtube and am super excited for future movies by him. Youtubers making good horror movies have been an unexpected great surprise and Im looking forward to all thats to be made.

Wow **"He ugly, ain't he... twin?"** This movie was incredible, the pacing was great, the score was amazing, makeup top notch, cinematography beautiful, acting 10/10 especially by Kara Young. A tragic story with an expected outcome that is still great to watch. An amazing theater watch too, the reactions at certain scenes enhanced the experience most notably a collective *"OOOOOH"* during the spit scene.
