Dune

i read the book, and absolutely adore this adaptation. the first movie often gets written off in favor of the second, which sucks because all the interesting character development and story building surrounding the setting, technology, and politics is packed into this one and excluded in the second for the most part. the impact is simply lost on people who haven’t had the joy of reading the novel. creative, entertaining, and a beautiful watch.
