Bugonia

One of my favorite films of the year. Jesse Plemons gives an incredible performance that’s both funny and unnerving, and Emma Stone continues to prove she can do absolutely anything. Aidan Delbis as Don adds an unexpected emotional weight that keeps the movie grounded even when things get strange. The story is wild and unpredictable, moving between dark comedy, sci-fi, and horror in a way that somehow feels effortless. It’s funny, tense, and surprisingly heartfelt at times. The visuals are stunning, the world is weird and alive, and that ending was a complete trip. I walked out of the theater buzzing. Loved every second of it.
