Moneyball
Moneyball is a perfect movie to me. It’s not only the best sports film ever made, it’s genuinely one of my favorite movies of all time. Brad Pitt gives one of his best performances here, capturing Billy Beane’s frustration, obsession, and quiet hope so effortlessly. Jonah Hill is phenomenal as well, grounding the story and bringing so much heart to it.
It’s a feel-good movie without ever being corny, and it understands that baseball is about failure just as much as it’s about winning. Even beyond the sport it’s a beautifully told story about belief and change. An absolute all-timer that I could rewatch forever.
