really enjoyable and shows a lot of intersections between american citizens who are less well off and immigrants trying to make it in the US. americas system doesnt benefit anyone who is not already being benefited by it. also love the message of trying to balance being kind and gracious to others but also not taking shit and pushing buttons when they need to be pushed. how do you decide the time and place for both? ALSO so filled with imagination. i feel like its kind of rare that a movie meant for adults uses imagination in this way without sacrificing its seriousness or its humor.
