The Room

How does one rate The Room? If I were giving it an honest rating on its own merits, I’d probably settle on ⭐️⭐️. That said, The Room has taken on a life of its own outside its own merits. This is probably my 7th viewing and tonight, I saw it in theatres again for the first time in 10 years, and seeing it with an audience, amongst whom were fans & virgins alike, is always such an exuberant experience. The script demonstrates a complete & total lack of understanding of human behavior. And yet? It’s insanely quotable. There are so many laugh out loud moments. On tonight’s viewing, I laughed so hard, I cried, which I think is the first time in all 7 viewings. At the end of the day, I can’t wait until my 8th go-around with The Room.
