Silenced

The worst part of watching this movie was knowing the whole time they'd get away with it. The justice system and this entire world is a joke. Lives are taken over things like this and worse yet many of those who suffer these things never properly recover. The world is so corrupt. What is a system of hierarchy for if it cannot recognise it's own flaws. Greed. Corruption. Abuse. All of it flows in this world. In this place, and how can we think that it is okay? Fuck society. This was a hard film to watch and it's even worse knowing it's a true story. May some day we see such things never happen again. Even if it is a futile dream. It's one I can only hope for because knowing nothing will change means there is no point living in such a world. This is what cinema is about, it was a hard story to tell but it was one that needed to be heard.
