Inception
this is one of the most breathtakingly bizarre films i have ever seen.
every single actor fully immersed themselves into their roles. arguably this is DiCaprio’s best acting to date. i admire how Nolan includes so many of the same actors in his range of films, such as Michael Caine and Cillian Murphy, which gives them such a cohesive feel.
the cinematography was of course spectacular. the scene where all three dream sequences are happening at the same time was insanely well done, and I couldn’t look away.
i went into this film worrying i would be too confused. however, i surprisingly understood the storyline and ideas more than a lot of the other Nolan films i have watched. looking past the big language and metaphors, at the core of Inception, it it just a film about a man living with regret and loneliness, and a longing to see his family again.
Nolan, you did it again, bravo. 🙌🏻
