<p>I watched this last night and was still crying about it this morning making my coffee, I know it’s the basic answer and everyone says this one is the best, but they say it’s the best for a reason, the hair tie that will protect her simply because her friends made it is so genius, her kindness being her magic in a world of spirits and actual magic, so inspiring, I have a feeling the longer I sit with it and the more I watch it the better it will be. I love this movie and all of these movies and hope I can make art half as good as anyone of these films&nbsp;</p>

<p>This movie is very special to me, I can’t explain it but you need to watch it, ultimately a very inspiring and tragic tale beautifully done, no magic required.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I can’t stop thinking about this movie, like my friend max says it’s literally the ultimate super hero origin story and at the same time literally Barbie, I love everything about this movie and I think it has the potential to be the ghibli movie I rewatch the most&nbsp;</p>

<p>This one the first ghibli movie that made me cry so hats off to this one, I fucking love Sophie and relate to her so much because I too feel like an old person in a young body, also becuase I know no one will read these I’m gonna say it, I DONT THINK HOWL IS AS HOT AS EVERYONE CLAIMS GET OVER YOURSELFS</p>

<p>This was my first introduction to ghibli and that was a weird way to start my watch through because it’s so diffrent from the rest but that’s why I love it, I mean it’s literally Zelda the movie what more could you ask for</p>

<p>The problem with this list is that the rest of the movies from here and above are all so good it’s hard to rank, but that being said I know this isn’t my top 3 so I’ll rank it here. Fabulous movie, maybe the best animation (tho there is another movie I like the overall look more… hint hint number 1 spot) and the story and world were once again spot on, ROBERT PATTINSON SLAYEDD, this one is much more abstract tho so maybe on future rewatches when I understand it more I may rank it higher.</p>

<p>Another upset, sorry Gavin if you see this but I really liked this movie, loved it! But unfortunately I love the others more. This movie blends so many different asthetics in such a cool way that really worked for me. I loved the message and Naussica so much, nuff said&nbsp;</p>

<p>Sorry max your not gonna be happy about this one but yea this is where I’d put this one, like don’t get me wrong this movie SLAPS, the sky heaven scene is one of the best in ghibli, love seeing the his further fascination of birds and planes and the sky but I simply like the other ones more, maybe it’s just cause I’m a pig tho idk</p>

<p>Once again not my favorite but I did like it much more than ponyo, the kids are super realistic and I love the childhood imagination that we see with Totoro, just kinda confused why the kids couldn’t see their mom when she has just a cold? But the dad could see the mom? Like idk I get the point of the movie but like maybe make the mom actually sick? That being said the movie was pretty SICK (see what I did there)</p>

<p>Honestly this one I wasn’t too much of a fan of, like good animation I like how unique it is compared to other ghibli but I definitely didn’t resonate with this one. Still good tho&nbsp;</p>
