The actual most important piece of Spider-Man media

Love how this movie reinvented Miles and made him a character who rivals Peter in how much I love him. Also best multiverse explanation and I love the concept of the spider-verse AND THAT EVERYONE CAN WEAR THE MASK UGH. Just perfect.

I have a huge bias with this movie as it’s probably the one I’ve watched the most, I grew up more with this Spidey more than the Tobey ones (for some reason I didn’t like Tobey as a kid idk why). I remember seeing the trailer for this with the first person footage and thought it was so sick, I immediately fell in love. While this movie definitely has its flaws it’s so charming to me. I love how Andrew’s two movies are all about his relationship with Gwen, and the fact that she gives him the name Spider-Man kills me. In this world she is just as important to him becoming Spider-Man as Uncle Ben is. While this world is not the perfect Spider-Man world, I think this Peter is. He truly reminds me the most of the Spider-Man I grew up reading in comic books.

Watching this all I could think about is how we will never see this classic of a Spider-Man interpretation on film again. Fucking iconic. ALSO! I just noticed that when Goblin gives Peter the choice of saving MJ or the children he does BOTH! Aged amazingly post Spiderverse.

Absolute Joy this one. Andrew’s Peter healing from Gwen makes it worth it for me, but also this is the best Tom’s Peter gets. His world starts actually feeling like a Spidey world with Feast and the Daily Bugle and I cried like a baby when Aunt May died. The last ten minutes is also PEAK Spider-Man content. While it does have rough moments due to being filmed during the pandemic I still love everything this movie gives. And as a love letter to these live action films for me it works. I mean come on guys we got Electro again!!! AND HIS DUBSTEP!!!

I love that these movies are just Spider-Man: Blue (or at least as close as we will get). This movie has some of the best spidey moments ever and when it’s at its lowest it is just as fun as venom or madame web.

With all of the flaws in this movie I just love the world of this one. It feels so fleshed out and lived in, these movies really give us the most expansive Spider-Man world in film and for that alone this one is sick. Also in my head cannon Tom Hardy’s Venom remembers this movie and the fact that Eddie died for him, which is why in Venom he is trying to reunite with Eddie, ugh I love them.

I like where this one is at, love the stakes, like all the small villains in this one (vulture, tinkerer, shocker, prowler, scorpion), and I like school cast. Peter is in his baby era and he is charming as fuck. But yea not enough Spider-Man stuff in this Spider-Man movie.
I’m coming out of the Eddie closet… this rocks (homosexual style)

This movie is like a parasite on my mind, everytime I think of it the grasp it has on my brain grows

Max really put me on to the venom verse… but like this one still uhhhh… me no likey much… sorry max I know your not gonna like this :(

Classic sequal hero falls from the sky, classic Spider-Man doubting being Spider-Man, also like JJJ vacation get away? Like this was Intresting

This feels by far the least Spider-Man out of all of them (yes I know I said something similar about Homecoming). Like it’s not in New York, Peter is barely in the red and blue, and it only focuses more on the school cast instead of developing the rest of this Peter’s world. They even have May working at FEAST but refuse to name it?? Also the fact he still doesn’t understand “with great power” in his 4th outing is killing me. Just really weird. But some good Mysterio sequences and also some weirdly comic accurate stuff??? Brad Davis going after MJ & Ned Leads dating Betty Brant, like why is this movie so anti Spider-Man but these deep cuts are here????

Seeing this opening night was an experience like none other… all I have to say is I don’t know what happened in this movie, but I think it has something to do with Spider-Man… guys like us should team up
This one was so boring max fell asleep, and when he did I kept saying “come on dude wake up”, and he would try and pretend like he’s awake by sleep talking. So i tested how much he was awake by saying “i can’t believe they brought back Gwen Stacy” (they did not bring back gwen) and he responded with “yea I know, it’s crazy considering”, that’s how bad it was.
