From beginning to end, from Buckley’s incredible performance which is my Lead Actress of the year award to Mescal’s emotional and deep performance that had me in tears at the end. Chloe Zhao shows why she’s one of the best directors working today with emotional storytelling paired with getting some generational performances out of every actor on screen.
